In the spring of 2018, they were selected as grant recipients by The Russo Brothers Italian American Film Forum in conjuction with the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF), the Italian Sons and Daughters of America (ISDA).

Our documentary film Cannoli, Traditions Around the Table explores the importance of Italian American food traditions through the story of cannoli. Our whole family worked on the film, and I believe that is why we were able to capture the world of Italian America so well.
